Rules are set for how a service request is handled and optimized through planning, preparation, and scheduling. The scheduled task is then assigned, and detailed instructions on how the work should be performed are specified.

The maintenance process also includes strategic maintenance work such as developing preventive maintenance, preparing spare parts, specialized tools, and documentation, as well as conducting risk assessments for facility assets. When you subscribe according to our 'Ready Made' concept, the implementation of Maximo, working methods, and other included parts are carried out by us in collaboration with your organization. Here, the design phase, configuration phase, and testing phase are almost non-existent since the solution is already 'Ready Made', so your organization is mostly involved in the training phase and the 'Change management' phase.

How does Epical’s Ready Made package make the Maximo Application Suite accessible to medium-sized businesses?
What is generally the deciding factor for a medium-sized company looking to invest in an EAM system is that, although its need for system support is no different from that of large companies, the costs and scope of the implementation project are often the key factors in determining what is feasible.
This is addressed in the Ready Made package by significantly reducing licence and hosting costs, based on the principle that revenue is generated by a large number of companies rather than just a few. Is all functionality pre-configured in the Ready Made concept?
No, approximately 90% of the functions are pre-configured; the remaining 10% consist of functions that Epical has determined should only be configured following consultation with the customer. These functions are addressed during a few workshop days before the configuration is finalised.

- To what extent should procurement be managed in Maximo Manage – as a request and an integration with the existing procurement system, or should it be managed entirely within Maximo Manage?

No, unfortunately, the Maximo Application Suite The Ready Made concept is hosted by Epical as a cloud service. The reason for this restriction lies in Epical’s commitment to including upgrades within the Ready Made concept. If an on-premises solution is the only acceptable option, Epical’s Tailor Made concept for the Maximo Application Suite. This concept, on the other hand, offers a high degree of flexibility as it can be deployed on-premises, as a cloud service or as a SaaS service.
Can the Ready Made concept be applied to the Maximo Application Suite on the Cloud?
Yes, Maximo Application Suite in the Ready Made concept, the service must be hosted by Epical as a cloud service. The reason for this restriction lies in Epical’s commitment to including upgrades in the Ready Made concept.
