During this year’s IBM Maximo User Group meeting, Epical had the honor of presenting how a standardized inventory process can contribute to increased reliability and efficiency in maintenance operations.

The storeroom plays a crucial role in ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time, something that greatly impacts both availability and productivity. Based on the European standard SS-EN 17007:2017 – Maintenance Process, we at Epical have developed an inventory process that structures the entire chain: from needs analysis and procurement, to stock level management, internal ordering, delivery, and finally disposal.

Thanks to the powerful support provided by IBM Maximo kan denna process digitaliseras och effektiviseras ytterligare. Systemet hjälper verksamheter att ha kontroll på sina artiklar, minska svinn, undvika stillestånd och öka tillgängligheten, vilket i slutändan leder till en mer hållbar och kostnadseffektiv underhållsstrategi.

Det är också viktigt att nämna att Epicals förrådsprocess är helt systemoberoende, this process can be further digitalized and streamlined. The system helps organizations maintain control over their items, reduce waste, avoid downtime, and improve availabilit, ultimately leading to a more sustainable and cost-effective maintenance strategy.
